Our Dining Experience

Research shows that practicing family-style dining enhances social skills, table manners, and increases conversation techniques. Our nutritious dining program is designed with these attributes in mind, and features:

- Mealtime conversation focused on nutritional education
- Well-balanced and healthy meals prepared by onsite chef
- Protocols to protect children with food allergies
- Menus that are prepared in advance and available online
- For bottle-fed children, families must provide prepared formula or mother’s milk in bottles. Families must also provide any baby food that they would like their child to have. All infant items should be marked with the child’s first and last name, and the date.

Our Outdoor Time

Outdoor time is all about exploring our natural environment, developing physical skills and enhancing brain growth. Components include:

Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy of Oviedo is currently accredited through APPLE (Accredited Professional Preschool Learning Environment) and NCPSA (National Council for Private School Accreditation).

APPLE (Accredited Professional Preschool Learning Environment) Accreditation is a national early learning program accreditation that recognizes early learning centers for operating high quality programs. Research shows a direct link between a high quality early learning experience and a child’s future success. APPLE sets the standards that accelerate an early learning center’s drive to achieve that level of care and education outcomes.

ZONO- Sanitizing Machine

At Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy of Oviedo, we realize that children in child care centers share more than just blocks, they share germs too. Our goal is to reduce the amount of germs in the classroom so that in turn, we can reduce the amount of absences in the classrooms. Afterall, you can’t teach absent children!

The ZONO is a “green” sanitizing system meaning it is eco-friendly. The ZONO Cabinet is our weapon in the fight against infectious diseases and viruses. The ZONO kills Staph, E. Coli, Hand/Foot/Mouth and Norovirus. We can also add the heating option to kill lice and eggs.

The ZONO Cabinet uses no harsh chemicals to sanitize hard and soft items. It uses ozone created from ambient air, less than one half ounce of water, and three cents of electricity to sanitize porous, semi-porous, and nonporous surfaces. With the ZONO, our teachers sanitize items throughout the day, without taking time away from teaching and caring for their students.

We use the ZONO to sanitize the following items in each classroom everyday:

Toys such as Legos, dolls, wooden blocks, cards, and puzzles
Electronic equipment
Craft supplies, including crayons, markers, and glue sticks
Stuffed animals
Dress up clothes and hats
Paper, plastic, and cloth books
Crib mattresses, mats, linens, and rugs
And many more items
