Safety & Security

All Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academies have on-site owners. We have consulted with experts to create a Safety and Security Program that features:

  • Infant, child and adult CPR and First Aid-trained staff
  • Separate (Boo-Boo) room to address medical needs
  • Strict background checks on all staff
  • Secured entrances with restricted visitor access
  • Closed-circuit cameras that are continuously monitored by staff
  • Password-protected Internet viewing of classrooms, playgrounds and the cafeteria
  • Tempered glass walls and doors for situational awareness
  • Emergency and inclement weather preparedness plan

Cleanliness Standards

We take pride in our clean, state-of-the-art facilities. Our trained staff practice disease prevention techniques, to protect the health and safety of all children in our care, such as:

  • Disinfecting classrooms, equipment and toys multiple times daily
  • Teaching and observing proper hand washing techniques. We even have child-size sinks in each classroom
  • Preparing all food away from the classrooms in a commercial-grade kitchen
  • Wearing disposable gloves to prevent the spread of germs when preparing food, and while attending to the sanitary needs of children
  • Maintaining a separate laundry room at each school, to prevent contamination of public areas and ensure proper storage of cleaning products
  • Following cleanliness and sanitary standards from checklists for each room

State-of-the-Art Classrooms

Based on years of experience, we have designed classrooms to create an environment where education and safety are priorities. Our developmentally-appropriate classrooms feature:

  • Floor to ceiling, tempered-glass walls and doors, which give children a preview of their next level classroom and aids in their transition into that class
  • Separate, clean storage for each child’s personal belongings
  • Child-sized hand washing sinks
  • Separate children’s restrooms
  • Direct access to fenced-in, gated playgrounds

Kitchen & Cafeteria

The large workspace, commercial grade kitchen adjoins the cafeteria.

  • Meals are prepared on site by a certified Kids ‘R’ Kids chef
  • USDA guidelines are followed for all meals and snacks
  • Family-style dining is encouraged to enhance social skills, table manners and conversation
  • Menus are prepared in advance and available online

Outdoor Playgrounds

Outdoor time is all about exploring our natural environment, developing physical skills and enhancing brain growth. Components include:

  • Large separate playgrounds designed specifically for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children
  • Play equipment built to meet Consumer Product Safety Commission guidelines
  • Supervised free play to promote physical fitness and development
  • Outdoor classroom educational activities

For your convenience, we provide bus transportation with the following features:

  • School buses with seat belts, and alarms to ensure no child is left behind
  • Certified bus drivers and supervisory staff
  • Safety measures, including a comprehensive attendance check
  • Scheduled, dedicated bus routes for enrolled school-age children
  • Service to field trips in the community

It’s their job to offer guidance, training, and support to each individual school owner so they can in turn provide a stellar educational experience to their students, much-needed support to their enrolled families, foster connections with their surrounding community and fill their schools to capacity with promising young students.
