Yes, our buses are available for area field trips. We transport children who meet the State’s height and age requirements. Children who ride the Kids ‘R’ Kids bus must be 4 yrs. of age and be at least 36 inches tall. These children are given opportunities to see their community and other places of interest year-round. Whether it is the local sports facility, a theatre, the library, and entertainment places such as roller skating or bowling, we provide fun and learning for the children and guarantee the maximum protection plan for parent’s peace of mind.
We encourage family-school collaboration with daily communication. Parents are able to communicate with their child’s teacher at drop off and pick up time every day. Please keep these conversations to a few minutes at a time so that the teacher has the opportunity to chat with other parents while still monitoring the children. If a longer meeting is needed, we are happy to do so at your convenience.
Kids ‘R’ Kids utilizes tempered, safety glass walls and doors for a multitude of reasons: they provide the best view possible; they are cleaner, safer and leave no question of who is caring for your child; they promote an open environment where teachers and children are in constant contact; and ensure the utmost safety and security of everyone.
Our exclusive curriculum propels Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academies far beyond state and industry standards. The standards-driven learning goals provide teachers with the tools to engage children in fun and purposeful activities.
Yes, our school is equipped with four areas of outside play with covered, age appropriate play structures. The children have scheduled times in the morning and the afternoon to explore their outside world. As an added safety feature, our schools have six foot fencing around the outside perimeter of the play areas. The play equipment is state-of-the-art and Kids Kids ‘R’ Kids abides by the Federal regulations on safety equipment and their surrounding fall zones. Our largest playground is also equipped with a splash pad for fun in the sun.
Yes, we serve hot meals and nutritional snacks. Our location is equipped with a full-service kitchen and staff trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our menu also includes vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and chicken alternatives while being a peanut free environment.
The Kids ‘R’ Kids faculty are required to follow their state regulations that apply to training. All staff are trained in First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning and OSHA regulations provide the skills needed to create a quality learning environment. New staff members get multiple days of orientation before they are placed in the classroom. The staff is encouraged to further their education through CDA and CCP programs and are given opportunities to attend professional training conferences. The staff at Kids ‘R’ Kids also receive monetary assistance in order to further their education in the childcare field. Kids ‘R’ Kids requires each staff member to have 25 hours of annual training each year which is 10 more hours than the state of Texas requires for Preschool teachers. Additional in house and corporate trainings also help our high quality staff achieve the instruction needed to be professional teachers and caregivers. Our campus also works closely with our regional Director of Education. Her main focus is to train the Curriculum Directors, teacher training and classroom observations.

We have a professional cleaning service at the School each night as well as having our closing staff to clean and sanitize their rooms. We utilize a machine known as the ZonoSanitech that sanitizes everything placed inside with a 30 minute cycle. We run toys, books, manipulatives, sleep mats, etc. through this to minimize the opportunity for colds and flus to be spread around the School. Hand sanitizers for parents are placed outside the classroom of every door for convenience. If we find that a particular class has several instances of sickness, we stop the rotation going into the ZonoSanitech machine and just focus on that class until everything that we can fit into it has been run through. In a case like this we also use a sanitizing mister that is released at the close of business in that classroom just to help further protect our students and staff.
