This adorable Valentine bear craft combines simple materials with big creativity! It’s a fun way for kids to practice fine motor skills, express affection, and make a heart-filled friend to share with someone special.

Materials:

  • Paper plate
  • Pink tissue paper 
  • Colored cardstock (pink, red, white)
  • Scissors [Adult use only]
  • Glue or tape
  • Markers
  • Optional: googly eyes, pom-poms, stickers

Instructions:

  1. Tear the pink tissue paper into small pieces. Spread glue over a paper plate (this will be your bear’s head) and stick the tissue pieces onto the plate until it’s fully covered.
  2. Cut two small semi-circles from paper for the ears, and cut heart shapes for the bear’s ears and nose.
  3. Glue the ears and hearts onto the plate to create your bear’s face.
  4. Add eyes, a nose, and any cute details using markers, crayons, or googly eyes.
  5. Finish by decorating with extra hearts or stickers to make your bear perfectly Valentine’s-ready!
