Craft: Paper Pumpkins

Fall favorite!
Coordination and fine motor control are an important aspect of creativity, and this paper pumpkin craft is the perfect way to practice. Encourage your child to fold the paper, cut the folds, count the pieces, glue the strips, and press the parts to secure them into a cute pumpkin. Next, a great way to foster creativity is to provide enough time to let your child ponder the process and let his or her mind wander. What else can be created with this technique?
