Materials:
– Paper plate
– Small piece of cardboard
– Blue paint
– Pink paint (or color you’d like to paint your jellyfish)
– Paintbrush
– Colorful yarn
– Googly eyes stickers
– Jumbo craft stick with sticky adhesive
– Craft knife (Adult use only!)
– Glue
– Scissors
Directions:
1. Cut out a jellyfish shape on cardboard.
2. Paint the jellyfish purple and the plate blue.
3. Once dry, use a craft knife to create a slit about 2/3 down the plate (Adult use only!)
4. Apply a line of glue to the back of the jellyfish. Attach several colorful yarn strands as tentacles and let dry completely.
5. Add googly eyes to the front of the jellyfish.
6. Insert the craft into the slit on the paper plate. Hold the stick from behind the plate with one hand while stabilizing it with the other hand. Moving the craft stick behind the plate makes the jellyfish swim around and around!
