Snack: Frozen Chocolate Bananas

You had me at chocolate!
What did the banana do when it saw the monkey? It split! But seriously, this fabulous fruit is a healthy way to whip up a fast and delicious treat that the whole family will go bananas for. Little hands can practice peeling, slicing, stirring, and dipping to reinforce beneficial cooking skills. Add in a little food science and language development by gently encouraging your child to describe the changes that chocolate and the bananas will go through as they freeze. Then, it is the perfect time for silly banana jokes while you enjoy your cool sweet treat!
