Craft: Paper Roll House

Create these cute cardboard tube houses with your preschooler!

Remember that children spell love as t-i-m-e and teaches them that generosity does not always have to be about money. Spend valuable time together designing these cute cardboard tube houses.   Your child can easily create this and develop fine motor skills at the same time.  Then you can have fun together playing with a busy town that is full of people who love helping each other!

Materials:

  • Cardboard tube(s)
  • Paint
  • Glue
  • Cupcake paper liners
  • Scissors
  • Sharpie marker
  • Paint brush

Directions:

  1. Cut door into bottom of tube
  2. Paint tube color of your choice and let dry
  3. Draw windows on tube with marker
  4. Glue cupcake paper liner on top of tube for the roof 
  5. Create a community of houses
