Craft: No-Bake Playdough

This craft will keep your kiddos busy all day!

Keep the momentum of celebrating achievements rolling and mix up some play dough!  Even small hands can help with mixing, measuring, pouring, poking, and kneading in a playful way that is very satisfying!  

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. of oil
  • ½ cup of water
  • 1 cup salt
  • food coloring
  • 2 cups of plain flour

Steps:

  1. mix salt with flour and stir and set aside
  2. pour water into 2 different bowls and add the food coloring in order to make 2 different colors of play dough 
  3. split and add the oil into the bowls of water and food coloring
  4. spoon ½ of the dry mixture into one of your liquid mixtures and stir
  5. once the mixture of the wet and dry ingredients is mixed well in the bowl, take it out onto a wooden cutting board and begin kneading the dough until well mixed.
  6. Repeat using the other color.
