Yes, we have 35 cameras throughout the building and use an online viewing service called WatchMeGrow, which provides an amazing resource in connecting family members with their child. Whether you are a parent at work during the day or a distant family member living in another part of the country, our cameras provide you with the opportunity for real-time viewing of your child while at our facility. Every parent and family member has access to this feature through an individual pass code protected website. These same cameras are fed to the front desk for additional monitoring by administrative staff.
Yes, our school has school buses with seat belts to transport children from school in the afternoon, and on all field trips. We provide service to the following schools: Wesley Chapel, Antioch, Indian Trail and Sun Valley, Waxhaw, and Union Day School.
Yes. We provide an array of fun and educational field trips throughout the year for our school-age children. We transport children who meet the state’s age requirements. These children are given opportunities to see their community and other places of interest year-round. Whether it is the local grocery store, the petting zoo, the library, or entertainment places such as Carowinds, roller skating, bowling or putt-putt golf, we provide fun and learning for the children and guarantee the maximum protection plan for parents’ peace of mind.
It’s as easy as calling the school and letting us know you would like to speak with your child’s teacher. We can then transfer your call directly to their classroom. Otherwise, we encourage family-school collaboration and we use an online reporting tool called Tadpoles that allows us to email you daily communication about your child’s day.
All of our classroom suites are separated by floor to ceiling tempered, safety glass walls and doors. We do this for a multitude of reasons: they help provide the best view possible from one classroom to the next, they are cleaner, safer and leave no question of who is caring for your child, they promote an open environment where teachers and children are in constant contact, and ensure the utmost safety and security of everyone.
Our exclusive curriculum propels Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academies far beyond state and industry standards. The standards-driven learning goals provide teachers with the necessary tools to engage children in fun and purposeful activities, which in turn fosters a solid foundation for their educational future and beyond.
Yes daily. Our school is equipped with four areas of outside play, each age-appropriate and sectioned off from the other three areas. The children have scheduled times in the morning and the afternoon to explore their outside world. As an added safety feature, our school has six-foot fencing around the outside perimeter of the play areas. The play equipment is state-of-the-art, and Kids ‘R’ Kids abides by the federal regulations on safety equipment and the surrounding fall zones.
Yes, we serve hot “home cooked” meals with fresh sliced fruit for breakfast and lunch with nutritional snacks each afternoon. You will not need to worry about providing any food for your child…no packing lunches, juice boxes, or hanging onto those leftovers from dinner the night before. In fact, as an added safety feature for many children, we are a peanut-free facility and do not allow outside food to be brought in unless approved by a director. Our location is equipped with a full-service commercial kitchen and staff trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children.
All of our staff is trained in First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness, and in our amazing, nationally recognized curriculum. Additionally, each staff member must complete a number of ongoing continuing education/training credits each year in Early Childhood Education, which includes subjects such as child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age-appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning and OSHA regulations. Our owners and directors encourage and pay for staff to further their education outside of the ongoing annual courses through Early Childhood programs and are given opportunities to attend professional training conferences. While many of our teachers already have Early Childhood degrees or equal education, Kids `R` Kids pays for the continuing educational efforts for all of our teachers.

Because we are family-owned and operated, our owner is on-site and actively involved with our staff and families and the daily operation of the school. This allows us to uphold the highest standards and provide unparalleled service for the families in our community.
If an emergency develops such as severe weather, fire, physical damage to the building, or any other situation that poses a threat, we will provide notification to each and every parent using several methods such as social media through our Facebook page and through our tadpoles‘ notification tool which will send a text message directly to your mobile device/phone.
