The strong foundations for success are built during the first five years of life. Good social-emotional development is built on the framework of positive, secure relationships with parents and other caregivers, enriching experiences which stimulate the mind and body, the freedom to explore and interact in a safe environment, many opportunities to play and finally adults who listen when children’s speak and give respect to children’s ideas and feelings.
