Halloween Costumes for Preschoolers

Halloween Costumes for Preschoolers at Kids 'R' Kids Houston Metro, preschool, daycare, childcare, learning academy

It’s that time of year again where all the little boys and girls use their wild imaginations and get to dress up like their favorite character for Halloween! Enjoy these costume ideas for your preschooler. They can be made right at home—all you need is a little imagination and you’ll have a lot of fun!

Adorable kitten

Grab some face paint, an ear headband, and an old clothes hanger, and your preschooler will be completely purr-fect. Sew some fake fur to a wire hanger to fashion a tail for your kitty cat, and maybe throw on a tutu for extra fluffiness, if so desired. Don’t forget to paint a pink nose and some whiskers to complete the look!

Superman

You’d be stunned at what a cape can do! Print out the Superman logo and pin it to a blue tee shirt, or have your little one come up with his own hero name and logo. A felt mask and a cape made of some shimmering material will be sure to make your child feel super.

Scary ghost

A classic! Channel “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!” and cut some holes in a white sheet, and your kiddo will be both spooky and adorable in a matter of seconds.

Sparkly princess

If your child has always dreamed of being royalty, it’s time for her dreams to come true. With a fluffy tutu, costume jewelry, a lovely tiara, and maybe a wand or fairy wings, she’ll be the most beautiful fairy princess to ever trick-or-treat.

Awesome cowboy

If you’ve got some cowboy boots, a bandana, and a hat just waiting to be worn, your kiddo just might need to be a cowboy for Halloween. Cut out a star to make him a sheriff, and put him in a plaid shirt and a vest. You’ll be wondering where his trusty steed is!
