Kindergarten Readiness Program

Our Kindergarten Readiness Program is designed, with the individual child in mind, to best prepare them to successfully enter school and joyfully manage the “job of Kindergarten”.

Key Features of Our Program

Each summer, KRK Cascade has the pleasure of helping children acquire skills to manage their “job of childhood” through our Kindergarten Readiness Program. Children entering kindergarten in the fall are facilitated by Pre-Kindergarten Teachers using a unique curriculum. We address each child’s unique strengths and weaknesses as they relate to kindergarten readiness. We wish to provide each child the opportunity to strengthen the foundations needed to successfully enter school and joyfully manage the “job of Kindergarten”.

Providing a Fun and Engaging Environment

For children that have not attained pre-school level foundational skills such as the ability to wait, focus, attend, follow direction, tie their shoes, easily adjust to new surroundings, collaborate, cooperatively negotiate in play, or are unable to grasp the relationship between sounds and symbols, our Readiness Program provides a fun, engaging and grounded environment where this foundational building process can occur via positive, successful social learning experiences!

Safety

Clean Classrooms: Include a personal place for your child’s belongings, organized learning centers, disinfected toys and play areas, and child-sized sinks for washing hands
Certified Teachers in: Infant/Child and Adult CPR, and First Aid
Glass Walls: Unlike typical day care centers or childcare providers, our classrooms feature tempered glass walls for maximum visibility and safety. This promotes an open, bright atmosphere, as well as a clean environment
Safety Guard on Door Hinges: Our doors are padded at the hinges so that little fingers don’t get pinched when doors are opened and closed between classrooms
Regular Drills for: Tornado, fire, hurricane and school lock-down

Electronic Security: Coded entry so only authorized visitors may enter the facility
Hiring Process: All staff undergo extensive state-mandated background checks
Front Desk: Our front desk is always staffed so that a watchful eye is supervising the facility, ensuring authorized entries only
Security Cameras: Every classroom in our facility has security cameras that are monitored at the front desk. The owners and staff can easily observe classroom activities throughout each day. Families can login to a secure, password-protected website to check in on their child periodically

Children eat all meals together using family-style seating in our kid-friendly café

Meals are prepared in our commercial-grade kitchen, which is kept separated from the classrooms
