”I want to share my experience so far with Kids R Kids Cascade. My sister and I added Kids R Kids to a list of three schools we wanted to explore for my son. Unfortunately for the others, we visited Kids R Kids first and they set the bar extremely high. Ms. Shonda was our guide during the tour and made us feel so welcomed. By the end of the tour, we already knew this was the place, but to be fair, we still visited the other two schools. After comparing notes, Kids R Kids Cascade truly stood alone. We then had orientation with Ms. Chee, and I literally cried. The warmth she provided and the passion she showed melted away any reservations I had. I kept her in the room for a full hour asking questions, and she never made me feel rushed. Next was Discovery Day, where they allow your child to experience the classroom, teachers, and environment for two hours. Coming from a military base, I wasn’t sure how my son would adjust. But when he heard “It’s circle time!” booming from Ms. Kizzie and Ms. Fran’s room, he didn’t even notice I had left. I watched through the glass as Ms. Kizzie loved on him and gently eased him into circle time with the other kids , and that’s when I was completely sold. My son started this week, and I can’t say enough about the realness, compassion, and love both Dallas and I have received. Even though it’s only been the first week, I am truly excited about this journey. I know some may think no place is perfect , and I’m not claiming it is. My only suggestion for improvement so far would be better organization around the system for child input, payments, and app access, possibly improving the format or timing of when it’s completed. Lastly, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner/boss, Ms. Keisha Wynn, and didn’t even know she was the boss at first, lol. The way she rolled up her sleeves and was willing to jump in and help showed me that no task is too small. She, too, has a light and an essence about her that is truly welcoming. I’ll be back in a few months to share an update, but until then, we are rocking with Kids R Kids Cascade!“
