Our VPK & Pre-K Program

At Kids ‘R’ Kids of Avalon Park, we’re excited to offer a best-in-class VPK and Pre-K program. Not only will our Pre-K program set your child up for success in Kindergarten, they will benefit all throughout their academic journey. They can also develop lifelong friendships along the way while playing and enriching development every day they set foot in our learning academy.
What is VPK?
VPK stands for Voluntary Prekindergarten, which is a free, high quality education program for 4-year-olds in Florida. The goal is to provide age-appropriate curricula in a manageable class size. We focus on important literary and math fundamentals, but that is only the beginning of what we cover. We focus on every aspect of our growing Pre-K students promoting cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and behavioral development. Class size for VPk programs are capped at 11 students with one instructor, or 20 students with an instructor and assistant assuring your student will get one on one attention.

Kids 'R' Kids Peace of Mind
At Kids ‘R’ Kids Avalon Park, the safety and security of your children and our staff are always our top priority. Our teachers are certified in Infant/Child and Adult CRP as well as First Aid. All hires also go through a rigorous, state-mandated background check. To protect our facilities, we have a coded entry so only authorized visitors can enter the facility, as well as a staffed front desk for an additional level of security.
Our classrooms are maintained and cleaned regularly to minimize the spread of germs. Child-sized sinks and disinfectants are readily available throughout the facilities as well. To best prepare our students, we perform regular tornado, fire, hurricane, and school lock down drills.
