Innovative AI Threat Protection

At Kids R Kids of Avalon Park, the safety of our students is our top priority. That’s why we’re partnering with PB&J TV to implement a state-of-the-art AI-powered security system. This innovative new system uses AI surveillance to do the following:
  • Threat Assessment: Detects if a weapon enters the facility and immediately notifies emergency services
  • Unattended Child Alerts: Detects if a child is alone in a room & notifies staff immediately
  • Classroom Ratio Monitoring: Indicates if your classroom is above the preferred teacher-to-student ratio

SAFETY & SECURITY

From our buses to our classrooms, we provide trusted care in child safety and security:

  • Infant, child, and adult CPR and First Aid-trained staff.
  • Separate (Boo-Boo) room to address medical needs.
  • Strict background checks on all staff.
  • School buses with seat belts, alarms, safety procedures, and certified bus drivers.
  • Secured entrances with restricted visitor access.
  • Closed-circuit cameras that are continuously monitored by staff.
  • Password-protected Internet viewing of classrooms, playgrounds, and the cafeteria.
  • Tempered glass walls and doors for situational awareness.
  • Emergency and Inclement Weather Preparedness Plan.
Knowing your child is safe is crucial to your peace of mind.

HEALTH PROTOCOLS

We take pride in our clean, state-of-the-art facilities. Our trained staff uses disease prevention techniques to protect the health and safety of all children in our care, such as:

  • Following the recommendations of the World Health Organization, Public Health Departments, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Childcare Licensing, and state/local officials.
  • Disinfecting classrooms, equipment, and toys multiple times daily.
  • Teaching and observing proper hand washing techniques. We even have child-size sinks in each classroom.
  • Preparing all food away from the classrooms in a commercial-grade kitchen.
  • Wearing disposable gloves to prevent the spread of germs when preparing food and while attending to the sanitary needs of children.
  • Maintaining a separate laundry room to prevent contamination of public areas and ensure proper storage of cleaning products.
  • Following sanitary standards for each room.
  • Implementing ongoing health & safety training.
