At Kids ‘R’ Kids Avalon Park, your child’s safety is our number one priority. We understand how difficult it can be to trust a program with your little ones, but we promise to put your mind at ease as we treat your kids as our own. To do so, we have several safety and security measures that ensure every single day is fun, safe, and reliable.

From the moment you arrive at Avalon Park, you’ll notice modern, state-of-the-art security to protect every child, teacher, and staff member. Below are a few specifics:

  • Controlled Building Access: Our facilities are restricted as to who can access the building. All visitors must check in at the front desk and provide a valid ID before entering.
  • Secure Check-In/Out: We have a digital sign-in system to ensure only approved guardians can pick up your child. If you want to add a trusted pick up person, you must speak with the school.
  • Video Monitoring: Throughout our school, we continuously monitor via security cameras. Now only does this enhance safety, but it also ensures we have video documentation if anything goes wrong or if parents have any questions.

These three layers of protection help us to maintain a safe environment for children, families, and our staff. But we also value creating a warm environment for our children too so we never have intimidating or scary security measures.

Trusted, Trained Staff and Teachers

At Kids ‘R’ Kids Avalon Park, we make sure that all of our employees are up-to-date on training. They partake in regular emergency preparedness, first aid, CPR, and child safety protocols. This ensures that all of our staff are ready for anything that gets thrown their direction. We also perform background checks when we hire new employees.

Clean & Hygienic Environment

A safe school is important, but so is a clean school. With so many little hands and germs, it can get difficult to maintain clean conditions. But our team follows strict protocols to minimize the spread of germs and illness. Some methods we take to do so are:

  • Daily cleaning and sanitizing toys, surfaces, and all materials.
  • We encourage hand washing throughout the day, especially after bathroom and outdoor play as well as before meals.
  • Enforce a strict illness policy. If your kid is sick, we will ask them to stay home until they are feeling better.

We also make sure to adhere to any local, state and federal childcare safety regulations. We partner closely with public health officials to make sure we are up-to-date.
