Over the last two years, the coronavirus (COVID-19) has transformed our world. It has challenged our team at Kids ‘R’ Kids Avalon Park to pioneer health and safety procedures to protect the children in our care, their families, and our staff. As a result, we have increased our safety practices based on the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization’s guidelines.
Health & Safety Procedures at Avalon Park
The daily health and safety practices at our facility include:
- Staff who wear masks at all times.
- Checking the temperature of all students, parents, and staff entering the building.
- Sanitizing surfaces frequently throughout the day.
- A state-of-the-art fog machine for cleaning.
- Hand washing stations in every room.
- Frequent handwashing for children and staff throughout the day.
To keep our facility free of viruses and bacteria without exposing your child to harsh chemical cleaners that might irritate their lungs or cause an asthma attack, we have invested in a chemical-free cleaning system. We now use Tersano’s Stabilized Aqueous Ozone (SAO) dispenser system. The SAO dispenser creates a powerful sanitizer and deodorizer that effectively kills germs without harsh chemicals. We use SAO sanitizer throughout our facility to keep toys and surfaces germ-free.
