Take Advantage of Our Free VPK Program!

There are many great benefits to raising a family in the state of Florida. One of our favorites is the voluntary pre-kindergarten, or VPK, programs available for free for all four and five-year-olds. The voluntary pre-kindergarten education program is designed to give children a jumpstart in education by preparing them for school and enhancing their pre-reading, pre-math, language & social skills early in life. Any child the age of four on or before September 1^st is eligible for our free program.

What does the VPK program entail?

The goal of the voluntary pre-kindergarten education program is to develop the skills children need to become strong learners at an early age so they are more likely to be successful and school. Qualified teachers provide developmentally appropriate curriculum that meet high literacy standards. There is a school year program that includes 540 hours of instructional time and generally begins in August or a summer program that consists of 300 hours of instructional time and may begin as early as May 1^st. Parents can choose from one of the several programs available from either private and public providers.

Here at KRK, we know the great importance of early childhood education. We are a certified private Orlando VPK provider. Our incredible facility includes an Enrichment Center that has been specifically designed and dedicated to the VPK and Pre-K students. Our goal was to create a dynamic and fun environment that is secure and supported by our professional teaching staff. The full day VPK program includes lunch, snacks and extracurricular activities. VPK students can look forward to field trips, special events, carnival days, school photos, graduation day, and more.
