Benefits of a Good After-School Care

East Orlando After School Program

After-school care programs are a great option for children
to learn, have fun, and create friendships in a structured, safe, & supervised environment. These extended-day care programs are associated with a number of benefits any parent can be proud of. From better student attendance to improved academic performance, children who attend after-school programs spend more time on educational and extracurricular activities while socializing with peers & adults alike.

Choosing a good after school program can really make a difference in your child’s daily routine. Many parents work well beyond traditional school hours so younger, school-aged children need options for extended care. A good after-school care choice will give your young student a secure location to play and learn, qualified teachers who can offer homework help, fun & exciting extracurricular activities, and a great place to play and explore in both indoor and outdoor play areas.

Here at Kids ‘R’ Kids Avalon Park we offer excellent after school programs that go above and beyond what you will find at public schools. By opening early and staying open late, we are able to serve the needs of busy working families. With a dedicated bus transportation system, we are able to deliver children to school in the morning and pick them up from school once the day is through. We travel to four local schools, Avalon, Camelot, Stone Lakes, and Timber Lakes Elementary School.

Kids ‘R’ Kids Avalon Park is more than just a place for your child to stay until you pick them up. We are dedicated to providing enriching activities that are fun & educational. From encouraging exploration & science in the Discovery Zone to providing children with the most advanced education games available in our Media Center, children can get a solid learning experience before & after school. Children can participate in trivia games, board games, fun hobbies like cooking & crafts, and artistic expression to help pass time in a constructive manner.

Plus, one of our most popular features is our Homework Help Club. All of our experienced & qualified teachers are available to offer homework help to relieve some of the stress homework can bring to your child. We are committed to fostering a sense of support and encouragement so your child can gain a better understanding of their classwork while leaving more quality time for your family once your child returns home from after school care.

Unlike many public after school care options, our program is available through school vacations and days off. With the exception of major holidays, parents can count on Kids ‘R’ Kids Avalon Park Centers to provide extended-day and after school care when most traditional programs are closed.

Our afterschool program follows a Kids ‘R’ Kids curriculum that includes the following fun clubs that promote both entertainment & education.
