At Kids ‘R’ Kids Avalon Park, we are more than just a child care center or daycare provider. We are focused on providing an educational learning experience that is both fun & effective. What is ABCmouse.com?
ABCmouse.com is an educational website designed for children ages 2 to 6. The site features over 3,000 interactive learning activities that include puzzles, games, art, songs and more, all available in a “classroom” setting. These activities cover a wide range of subjects including math, reading, science, social studies, and art. With a customizable avatar, children can navigate through the classroom and interactive zoo or farm while participating in fun learning activities to earn rewards. Parents (and teachers) can set the lesson builder to cater to each child’s needs & interests. Parents can also track the progress made in both the academic level and the curriculum subject.
Available at our Avalon Park Center in East Orlando, every preschool & VPK student enrolled in our program will have access to this wonderful learning tool. In our technology room, students are able to use ABC mouse through our computer stations or by using our tablets.
Each child that is enrolled at Kids ‘R’ Kids will receive a special ABCmouse.com enrollment code that will link their account to their classroom & curriculum. There is no additional charge for ABC Mouse at our child care center, but parents may continue the access to ABC mouse at home or on their own tablets when they are “on the go” with a special discounted subscription ($6 per month). Parents that already have an ABC Mouse account can connect their existing account and take advantage of our discounted cost, too!
As a parent, you will get to see the work & progress that your child has completed at school and be able to continue the learning at home. Tying together these learning experiences that are great fun for the kids is a tremendous way to reinforce lessons and increase comprehension.
