“Send a Card to a Friend” day is the perfect opportunity to show your preschooler the importance of kindness and friendship! Here are some fun and easy ways to celebrate with your child:
Make cards at home
Gather materials such as construction paper, stickers, markers, and glitter and have your child help you make homemade cards for their friends. Encourage them to personalize the cards with their own messages and designs.
Write letters
Encourage your preschooler to write a letter to their friend, expressing their appreciation for their friendship. This is a great way to practice writing skills and express their feelings
Send e-cards
If you’re unable to physically send a card, consider sending an e-card instead. There are many websites and apps that allow you to create and send digital cards for free.
Host a “card-making” party
