Teaching our children what it means to pay it forward is a great way to show them what thankfulness looks like in action! Share with your preschooler that paying it forward means sharing with others because you have been blessed with more than you need. - Invite a friend to Thanksgiving dinner that might not have anywhere else to go.
- Decorate name cards for everyone who is coming to Thanksgiving dinner and let them take them home as a favor.
- Bake some small pies and deliver them to your neighbors.
- In the mailbox, leave a thank you note for your mailman during such a busy season for them.
- See if there is an elderly neighbor you can rake leaves for.
- Make or buy a small gift for your child’s teacher.
