Holiday Pajamas
One of the most popular traditions is to wear matching holiday pajamas! Wrap up the pajamas and have your family open them the night before Christmas. Everyone can put them on before bed and be matching for Christmas morning; a perfect photo op! You can even make a photo album of all the pictures to look back on for years to come.
Volunteer Together
This holiday season, look for ways you and your family can serve others. You could buy a gift for someone less fortunate, help throw a holiday party at a retirement home, or come up with another opportunity to volunteer. This will help teach your preschooler the importance of serving others and remind them of the reason for the season.
Bake Cookies
Making Christmas cookies as a family is a fun activity that can easily become a tradition your preschooler will love! Select a few recipes, go to the store together for ingredients, and then spend time making the cookies together. Choose recipes that your child can help with because they will feel special getting to help prepare for Christmas dinner.
Watch a Movie
There are so many great holiday movies! Choose your family’s favorite and watch it together this holiday season and the next ones, too. Make hot chocolate and popcorn before snuggling up on the couch. You could even go look at Christmas lights after the movie ends to keep the fun going.
