Shannon has been a part of the Kids ‘R’ Kids team since 2009. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and has earned the nationally recognized Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential™ in infant, toddler and preschool categories. She also has the State of Florida Directors credential with VPK endorsement. Shannon was the recipient of the Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academies “Director of the Year” award in 2015 & 2017. With a passion for making a difference and love of children, Shannon also sits on the board of directors for the non-profit organization Girls of the World Inc. Shannon resides in Apollo Beach with her husband, an Army Veteran and Fire Rescue Division Chief, and two children who attend Kids ‘R’ Kids. Shannon and her team of directors take pride in creating an environment where every family, child and staff member feel welcomed, loved, accepted, and valued. She believes that providing safe, high quality early education is crucial in the lifelong success of every child who passes through her doors.
