Shannon Hill

Area Director
Shannon has been a dedicated member of the Kids ‘R’ Kids family since 2009. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and has earned the nationally recognized Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential™ in infant, toddler, and preschool education. Shannon also holds the State of Florida Director Credential with VPK endorsement, reflecting her strong commitment to educational excellence and compliance. Her leadership and impact have been recognized at the highest level, as she was honored with the Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academies “Director of the Year” Award in both 2015 and 2017. Driven by a genuine passion for children, families, and community involvement, Shannon serves on the Board of Directors for the nonprofit organization Girls of the World Inc. and is also a Board Member of the Greater SouthShore Chamber of Commerce. She resides in Apollo Beach with her husband—an Army Veteran and Fire Rescue Division Chief—and their two children, who proudly attend Kids ‘R’ Kids. Shannon and her leadership team take great pride in cultivating a school environment where every family, child, and staff member feels welcomed, loved, accepted, and valued. She firmly believes that providing safe, high-quality early education lays the foundation for lifelong success and is honored to support each child’s journey during these critical early years.

Kara Allen

Director
Kara brings over 20 plus years of early childhood leadership, most recently as the Center Director at Kids R Kids Southshore from 2011-2014. She holds a National CDA, Director Credential with a VPK Endorsement and a CDL license. Kara has been leading our team at the Southshore campus since 2019. Kara is married with two boys, both who attended Kids 'R' Kids of Southshore. When not working Kara loves to spend time with her family, go camping, traveling and reading.

Tiffani Watson

Assistant Director
Tiffani was with Kids 'R' Kids Southshore Campus since 2011 and the Waterset Campus in 2021. She is a proud wife of 22 years and proud mom of three and even prouder GIGI to a beautiful granddaughter. She has taught in just about every age group, including school age and toddlers. She is happy to become the Assistant Director of Kids 'R' Kids of Southshore in 2022 and to be able to support the relationships with the families, staff, and students wherever it's needed!

Paula Gough

Education Coordinator
Paula has been passionately dedicated to childcare since 1996, with a particular focus on supporting military families across various states and countries. She has been happily married to her high school sweetheart for 31 years. Together, they are the proud parents of two lovely daughters. Throughout her career, Paula has consistently prioritized the care of the brave men and women who protect our nation, especially during their absences from home. Her unwavering commitment to quality childcare has earned her multiple accolades, including the prestigious A1 Beverly L. Schmalzried Award. This honor recognizes individuals who have made a remarkable and unique impact in the field of family childcare, underscoring Paula's dedication to providing exceptional support to families and children. With extensive government training and experience in military childcare, Paula brings essential skills to her role as the Education Coordinator at Kids “R” Kids. She is dedicated to leveraging her knowledge and experiences to collaborate closely with teachers and families, upholding the high standards that make Kids “R” Kids a standout childcare facility in the community. Her contributions have been instrumental in maintaining the National Association for the Education of Young Children accreditation (NAEYC) and successfully navigating government inspections, ensuring that the facilities she has been part of meet the highest standards of care. With her deep understanding of the importance of quality childcare and the unique needs of families and educators, Paula continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves.
