Meet the Owners!

“Hello to all of our potential Kids ‘R’ Kids Families! We are looking forward to meeting each of you in the near future.
I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Mercedes Gilbert. I have been married for 21 years to Jeff Gilbert. We have two boys, Cohen (16) and Corbin (9), and our two “girls,” Teddi and Lucy (both Goldendoodles). We have owned property in Round Rock for almost 22 years and have had the privilege of watching it grow exponentially. We love everything about this sweet, growing, down-home city.
I hold a Bachelors Degree of Interdisciplinary Studies. After my fourth year of teaching fourth grade in the public school, I decided to stay at home with my oldest son. It was during this time I began looking into opening a preschool. After much research, my husband and I chose the Kids ‘R’ Kids Franchise for so many reasons. We opened our first academy January 3, 2011 in Round Rock (Teravista). Because we have enjoyed our KRK experience so much, we are building an academy in Liberty Hill, too!”
