Every one of them deserves an opportunity to thrive, but too few are getting the care and support they need from the start. By the time South Carolina’s young children arrive at school, more than half have already fallen behind. Research shows that children who attend a high-quality preschool program are more successful in kindergarten and beyond.
How it helps: Kids ‘R’ Kids believes in providing quality care and education to prepare children for grade school. In our partnership with our state, we can now offer free or discounted 4K education to many families. In addition, families that have a child in our 4K First Steps, may qualify for scholarships for siblings in our other programs including after-school care.
