We are licensed by the state of South Carolina to accept children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Contact an enrollment specialist about current availability.

Our hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to accommodate your family’s needs.

We do not follow public school schedules and may be open when public schools are closed. Generally, we are open Monday through Friday, except on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas. If the holiday falls on a weekend, we may close on Friday or Monday in accordance with generally accepted holiday schedules. Additional closings may occur for weather related safety concerns. The above holidays are subject to change and current holidays be provided on your tuition rate and policy sheet during enrollment.

Depending on space availability, we may offer part-time enrollment in certain age groups and may also provide drop-in (single-day) care. Please inquire with our enrollment team for more information and current availability.

Our secure Internet viewing system is password-protected and allows you to observe your child in real-time with a typical setup of two camera angles per classroom and playground. Viewing is limited to the areas that your child utilizes. There is no additional charge for this service. Learn more HERE

We provide transportation from designated local elementary schools for our after school program. Please contact us for a complete list of schools that we transport from as this may change from time-to-time to accomidate parent needs.

Yes. Depending on the age group, we provide an array of fun and educational field trips throughout the year and weekly during the summer months. In addition, our on-site water playground allows for weekly water days during the summer for certain age groups.

We encourage family-school collaboration with daily communication. There are phones in all classrooms to accomidate when there is a need to connect.  Contact the center to make arragements.

Kids ‘R’ Kids utilizes tempered, safety glass walls and doors for a multitude of reasons:  they are cleaner, safer, and allow parents to observe from outside the classroom if desired; they promote an open environment where teachers and children are in constant contact; and ensure the utmost safety and security of everyone. Finally, this feature, unique to Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academies, provides for an easier transition for the child as they age. Yes. Every classroom has a designated time to play and explore on their own age-appropriate playground.

Yes, healthy meals and snacks are provided and are prepared by our full-time Chef onsite in our commercial kitchen. For bottle-fed children, families must provide prepared formula or mother’s milk placed in bottles. We also provide baby foods for infants which is not typical in other childcare centers. Weekly menus for children on table food are available for review and are transmitted using our Parent Portal electronic communication system.

Our highly qualified staff is required to attend all state-mandated training and are certified in infant, child and adult CPR and First Aid. They are also required to undergo professional development training throughout each year.
