Math practice can happen anywhere! Count shells at the beach, sort toy cars by color, or make patterns with snacks. These simple, hands-on activities strengthen preschoolers‘ counting, sorting, and problem-solving skills—all while feeling like playtime.

Reading stories about summer adventures or new beginnings builds vocabulary and strengthens listening skills. Take it a step further by asking your preschooler to predict what happens next or draw their favorite part of the story—encouraging creative thinking and comprehension.

Incorporate learning into sensory activities like water play or sand art. Let preschoolers draw letters in the sand or scoop water into different-sized containers to explore volume and measurement. These fun activities develop motor skills and introduce early science concepts.
