Yes, we currently provide bus service to Big Ridge Elementary, McConnell Elementary, and Ganns Middle Valley Elementary.
We are proud to provide school buses with seat belts to transport children from these schools in the afternoon as well.
Absolutely. Our school bus is available for area field trips. We safely transport children who meet the state of Tennessee’s age requirements. These children are given opportunities to visit places in our community and other areas of interest throughout the year. Whether it is a petting zoo, the library, the local grocery store, or an entertainment facility such as roller skating, bowling, or putt-putt golf, we provide learning and fun for the children guaranteeing the maximum protection plan and providing peace of mind for parents.

Yes, Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy of Hixson is equipped with four exciting areas of outside play. Children have scheduled times in the morning and the afternoon to explore the outside world.
As an added safety feature, Kids ‘R’ Kids of Hixson has six- to nine-foot fencing around the outer perimeter of the play areas. Our play equipment is also state-of-the-art. We abide by the federal regulations on safety equipment and the surrounding fall zones.
Yes, our on-site chef serves hot meals and nutritional snacks. Our Learning Academy is also equipped with a full-service kitchen and staff trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children.
For bottle-fed children, families must provide prepared formula or mother’s milk placed in bottles. We will inform you of the policy regarding baby foods. All infant items should be marked with the child´s first and last name, and date. Weekly menus for children on table food are available for review.
Yes, the Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy of Hixson faculty is required to follow the state regulations that apply to training. All staff is trained in First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness. Our additional training in child development, curriculum, classroom management, classroom arrangement, nutrition, age-appropriate activities, field trip planning and OSHA regulations provide the skills needed to create a quality learning environment for the children we serve. Our staff members are encouraged to further their education through CDA and CCP programs and are also given opportunities to attend professional training conferences.
