About The Owners

“Success, for us, is that our students do so well in kindergarten. As their teachers say, “those are Kids ‘R’ Kids, kids!”, says Charles. Jennifer says, “We love when the parents come back and tell us how well prepared their kids are for kindergarten.”

The Miles love the community and living in Tega Cay. “We love how family-oriented Tega Cay is,” says Charles. “Our family loves sports, and there are tons of opportunities for us to participate in all types of activities.” The family is definitely community focused!

Jennifer is an avid reader and is a member of a women’s book club. She also plays with the United States Tennis Association league and serves on the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte Board.
Charles has served on the Tega Cay Parks and Recreation Committee and the State of South Carolina’s Advisory Committee, as well as the Regulation of Child Care Facilities. Charles also loves to play golf and collects comics. Their son Charlie loves to hang out and play sports.

At every Tega Cay or Gold Hill School event, you will see either Jennifer or Charles Miles actively participating. Be sure to stop by and say hi to this dynamic couple offering educational value for the families of Fort Mill and surrounding areas.

Our staff is part of the consistent care provided by the Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy of Fort Mill.

About Our Staff

All Kids ‘R’ Kids faculty and personnel are required to follow our state regulations that apply to training and professional development. Our staff (100%) are trained in Infant/Child and Adult First Aid/CPR. Our staff also attends continuous classes for infectious disease control, injury prevention and child abuse awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement and management, age-appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning and OSHA regulations provide the staff with skills needed to create and uphold a high quality and nurturing learning environment.

We encourage our staff to further their education through a Child Development Associate (CDA) program and some with a Child Care Professional Degree (CCP). With these programs, our staff members are provided with opportunities to attend professional training conferences.
