Our Health & Safety Procedures

Our biggest goal is to provide peace of mind to our community and families. We take daily actions to assure our school is safe, sanitized, and an ideal learning environment for learning!

Now more than ever, Health and Safety protocol is of utmost importance. We understand you want peace of mind that we are doing the right things to protect your children and family. We will continue to maintain and expand our safety measures to follow CDC and local health department recommendations. Below is an extensive list of the varied procedures, products and services we employ to maintain a safe and healthy environment. We truly feel that this is one of the safest places for your child!

  1. Screenings: We perform screenings on EVERY person coming into the building. This daily screening adheres to CDC Requirements, affirming that the person entering has had no fever, shortness of breath, cough, loss of taste or smell, has been exposed to a person who has tested positive for COVID-19, etc. In addition, we take each individual’s temperature prior to entering the building. We restrict access to the building if any of the screening measures are not passed.
  2. Valet Service: We are offering valet service to all parents in the morning for drop off. Parents have the choice of valet service in the afternoon or to come in the building to pick up their children. Parents are required to wear a mask, permitted to stay in the classrooms for 5 minutes, and only 2 parents are allowed in a classroom at a time.
  3. Enrollment & Vacation: For any new enrollment or current enrolled family we require them to notify us of any international travel. Any family who have had someone in their household return from a country with a Level 2 or 3 Risk Assessment to keep their children home for 14 days upon their return.
  4. Temperature checks: In addition to the temperature check we take prior to granting access to the building, we perform a second temp check of every student in the building mid-day. If a child ever has a fever of 100.00 or higher, the student is removed from the classroom and parents are notified immediately. All individuals must remain out of the center for 74 hours from the last known fever or other illnesses and symptoms.
  5. Handwashing: Students and teachers wash their hands religiously- when they arrive, when they leave, and an endless number of times in between! We have hand sanitizer at the door which everyone (2 and older) uses prior to entering the building. We even have the children wash their hands before exiting their classroom to go home for the day.
  6. Common Touchpoints: A staff member disinfects common touchpoints throughout the building mid-day, every day. This includes handles, knobs, bathrooms, light switches, toilets, sinks, etc. We also do this after close with our electrostatic sprayer.
  1. Cleaning Product: Neutral Disinfectant Cleaner (NDC) is a concentrated, pH neutral, quaternary formula that cleans and disinfects in one step. We use NDC in a number of ways including plastic, ceramic tile, toilets, toys, floors, stainless steel, glass, mirrors, and will not harm or dull high gloss floor finishes or painted surfaces. NDC kills mold and mildew, fungus, bacteria, and many viruses including the HIV virus, MRSA, H1N1, and the Human Coronavirus. This product comes registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and has a register number for easy look up on the EPA’s website.
  2. Daily Fogging: We use a mix of NDC and water in the Fogmaster Jr. that turns the liquid into a heavy, wet fog that coats everything in the room. Once the fogged area has dried for 10 minutes everything on the kill claim list will be brought to an end. Our staff fog every classroom and public area in the school every night and even on the weekends to ensure a safe, and clean environment.
  3. ZONO-Sanitech: This leased equipment from Synexis creates a hydrogen peroxide vapor. The Hydrogen Peroxide vapor disinfects the air and everything the air touches essentially disinfecting every nook and cranny in the classroom! We rotate this system through our classrooms to ensure they are fully disinfected regularly!
  4. Victory Electrostatic Sprayer: The ZONO is a “green” sanitizing system. We use the ZONO to sanitize just about everything your child uses at our school such as small toys, soft play items, infant walkers, mattresses, mats, bouncy seats, and activity tables. Anything that cannot fit or be placed into the ZONO has been removed from the classrooms. Ozone is generated with ultraviolet light using the air in the sealed ZONO cabinet. Humidity is the added to the sealed ZONO cabinet, and the sanitizing process is completed.
  5. Playground Equipment: Playground equipment is disinfected after each classroom use.
In the Classrooms:
  1. Lunch and Snacks: All meals/snacks are served in the classrooms so that exposure to other students is limited. Students’ meals are plated and served individually, rather than family style.
  2. Toy Restrictions: All “soft” furniture, toys, etc. that cannot be easily disinfected have been removed from classrooms. In infant/toddler classrooms, we closely monitor the use of toys and regularly sanitize toys after individual use.
  3. Masks: We have actively encouraged staff to get vaccinated. Many have chosen to do so and we are allowing vaccinated staff to come to work without their masks. Parents, tour, and outside vendors are required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination history.
