The safety and well-being of the children in our care, their families, and our staff are our highest priority and are at the core of our Kids ‘R’ Kids mission and policies. We have been the pioneers in providing the best safety features and procedures and will continue to lead the way.

Knowing your child is safe is crucial to your peace of mind.

HEALTH PROTOCOLS

We take pride in our clean, state-of-the-art facilities. Our trained staff uses disease prevention techniques to protect the health and safety of all children in our care, such as:

  1. Following the recommendations of the World Health Organization, Public Health Departments, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Childcare Licensing, and state/local officials.Disinfecting classrooms, equipment, and toys multiple times daily.
  2. Teaching and observing proper hand washing techniques. We even have child-size sinks in each classroom.
  3. Preparing all food away from the classrooms in a commercial-grade kitchen.
  4. Wearing disposable gloves to prevent the spread of germs when preparing food and while attending to the sanitary needs of children.
  5. Maintaining a separate laundry room to prevent contamination of public areas and ensure proper storage of cleaning products.
  6. Following sanitary standards for each room.
  7. Implementing ongoing health and safety training.

SAFETY AND SECURITY

Ensuring the safety and security of your child is our top priority at Our Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy. From our meticulously maintained buses to our well-designed classrooms, we have implemented a range of measures to provide trusted care:

  1. CPR and First Aid Training: Our staff members are trained in infant, child, and adult CPR, as well as First Aid, ensuring they are well-equipped to respond promptly and effectively to any medical needs that may arise.
  2. Boo-Boo Room: We have a dedicated space, often referred to as the Boo-Boo room, designed to address any medical concerns that children may have. This specialized area is equipped to handle minor medical incidents with care and attention.
  3. Strict Background Checks: Every staff member undergoes stringent background checks to ensure the highest level of security and trustworthiness in our learning environment.
  4. School Bus Safety: Our school buses are equipped with seat belts, alarms, and follow strict safety procedures. Certified bus drivers ensure the safe transport of children to and from the academy.
  5. Secured Entrances: We maintain secured entrances with restricted access to ensure that only authorized individuals can enter our facilities, adding an extra layer of protection for our students.
  6. Closed-Circuit Cameras: Continuous monitoring of our premises is facilitated through closed-circuit cameras. These cameras are monitored by staff to enhance overall security.
  7. Password-Protected Internet Viewing: Parents have the ability to view classrooms, playgrounds, and the cafeteria through password-protected internet access. This feature ensures transparency and offers peace of mind to parents about their child’s daily activities.
  8. Tempered Glass Walls and Doors: Our classrooms feature tempered glass walls and doors, promoting situational awareness while maintaining a secure and open environment.
  9. Emergency and Inclement Weather Preparedness Plan: We have a comprehensive emergency and inclement weather preparedness plan in place to address unforeseen circumstances, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and staff.
