Shannon Hill

Area Director
Shannon has been a dedicated member of the Kids ‘R’ Kids family since 2009. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and has earned the nationally recognized Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential™ in infant, toddler, and preschool education. Shannon also holds the State of Florida Director Credential with VPK endorsement, reflecting her strong commitment to educational excellence and compliance. Her leadership and impact have been recognized at the highest level, as she was honored with the Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academies “Director of the Year” Award in both 2015 and 2017. Driven by a genuine passion for children, families, and community involvement, Shannon serves on the Board of Directors for the nonprofit organization Girls of the World Inc. and is also a Board Member of the Greater SouthShore Chamber of Commerce. She resides in Apollo Beach with her husband—an Army Veteran and Fire Rescue Division Chief—and their two children, who proudly attend Kids ‘R’ Kids. Shannon and her leadership team take great pride in cultivating a school environment where every family, child, and staff member feels welcomed, loved, accepted, and valued. She firmly believes that providing safe, high-quality early education lays the foundation for lifelong success and is honored to support each child’s journey during these critical early years.

Sandra Coronel

Director
Sandra Coronel, our Center Director and is passionate about the Kids ‘R’ Kids philosophy of “Hug First, Then Teach.” She began her early childhood education career with Kids ‘R’ Kids when the South Shore location opened in August 2007. She has since taught in most of the classrooms at both of our locations and assisted in opening the Waterset Campus in 2017 as the Education Coordinator. Sandra holds a National CDA certification along with a Florida Directors Credential and VPK endorsement. Sandra is the mother of two girls and two boys who ALL are Kids 'R' Kids alumni!

Lorraine Allen

Assistant Director
Lorraine has been a part of the Kids ‘R’ Kids team since August 2016. She holds a FCCPC Staff Credential in an Infant/Toddler & Preschool setting. Lorraine has her Florida Director’s Credential and Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is a Certified VPK Educator and a member of NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children.) Lorraine is the mother of three boys and has two grandchildren. For over 25 years, she has protected, nurtured and cared for young children and supported their families.

Lisa Vasquez

Education Coordinator
Lisa has been with the Kids 'R' Kids family since 2007. She has earned the nationally recognized Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential™ in the preschool category. Lisa has spent many years working with our two and three year old programs at our Southshore & Waterset campus. She has three sons, a daughter and grand daughter. She loves spending time with them outdoors camping and fishing. All three of her sons are Kids R Kids alumni! Lisa looks forward to working along side our team of teachers in the classrooms!

Sandy Martinez

Office Coordinator
Sandy has worked in the Early Childhood profession since 2007 and joined the Kids 'R' Kids family at the Southshore campus in 2008. She has earned the nationally recognized Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential™ in the preschool category and a state of Florida directors credential. Sandy has spent many years working with students ranging from VPK to our infant-toddler department at both our Southshore & Waterset campuses. She has a son who attends Kids 'R' Kids and loves the philosophy that children should be hugged first, then taught. She sees the importance in immersing our children in a loving, safe and secure environment to fully thrive socially and emotionally. Sandy looks forward to growing her leadership skill set in this administrative role!
