Our Before & After School Program

At Kids ‘R’ Kids Waterford Lakes, we understand the demands of a busy schedule. Our before and after school program is built with working families in mind, providing a reliable and enriching space for children outside of their regular school hours. Whether it’s a morning drop-off before the school day begins or an afternoon pick-up delay, we’re here to help with equal parts structure, safety, and fun.

A Supportive Start and End to the Day

Grade school students have long days, which can be exhausting especially for young students. They spend so many hours learning, interacting, and staying active. Some children need time to unwind, while others may want to burn off energy or get ahead on homework. We accommodate all of it. Mornings start with a calm, organized routine to ease into the school day. Whereas, afternoons shift gears to offer a mix of structured activities and free play, depending on what your child needs and wants the most.

Homework Help and Quiet Time

After a long day at school, some kids still have tasks to tackle – especially the 4th and 5th graders. We provide a quiet and focused environment for homework, giving students the option to work independently or alongside peers. Our staff can assist when needed, and help kids work through anything challenging. If you’d like us to help prioritize academic tasks, we’re happy to support that.

Built for Busy Families

For some families, mornings can start early and workdays can run late. Our extended hours are here to make those daily transitions a bit easier, offering families reliable care without stress. We want you to feel confident knowing your child is safe, cared for, and enjoying their time with us.

Growing Social Skills and Friendships

Our program is open to all school aged children, creating natural opportunities for children to interact across grade levels. These daily connections often lead to meaningful friendships and even a little peer mentoring. Whether it’s learning to take turns, solving a problem as a group, or just sharing a snack and a laugh, kids practice important social and emotional skills every day they’re here.

A Safe, Clean, and Trusted Environment

Safety is always our top priority. Our campus includes secure access points, gated outdoor spaces, and age-appropriate equipment and supplies. We make sure to promote clean environments with accessible handwashing areas and clean learning spaces. Staff members are continuously trained in CPR and First Aid, as well as trained in safety procedures, so you can rest easy knowing your child is in good hands.
