Security
Keeping children safe is one of a parent’s biggest and most stressful concerns. Kids ‘R’ Kids requires strict background checks on all employees and all employees are first aid and CPR certified. Facilities are secured and visitors are restricted to ensure the safety of the children. Closed-circuit cameras are continuously monitored by staff and there is password-protected viewing of classrooms available for parents.
Cleanliness
Staff at Kids ‘R’ Kids teach and monitor proper hand-washing techniques, and child-size sinks are available to students to encourage hand-washing. All meals are prepared in a commercial grade kitchen and disposable gloves are worn to prevent contamination. Our Staff also wear disposable gloves when tending to a child’s sanitary needs to prevent contamination. Each classroom contains a daily cleaning checklist and classrooms and toys are disinfected throughout the learning day.
Curriculum
Kids ‘R’ Kids uses First Class CurriculumⓇ. This curriculum encourages children to learn through play by presenting planned activities. This may be as simple as placing a book just out of reach of an infant who is learning to crawl to entice her to move toward the book and then reading the books with her to promote relationships and literacy skills. The curriculum is research-based and supported by educational theories of Piaget, Vygotsky, and Smilansky. You can read more about this amazing curriculum here.
Classrooms and Playgrounds
Each classroom contains separate clean storage for each child’s belongings. Classrooms have floor-to-ceiling tempered glass walls and doors so children can see into other classrooms. This helps the transition into the next classroom less scary for your child. Each classroom also has direct access to an age-appropriate, fenced playground for outdoor physical play!
