Hello families,

When you’re choosing a preschool for your child, I know it can feel like there are so many little details to consider. As the Director, I know you want to feel secure knowing your child is safe, cared for, and learning in a joyful environment. That’s why I’d love to share some of the most common questions parents ask us—along with reassuring answers that give you a glimpse into what daily life looks like at our school.

We understand that every family’s schedule is unique, so we offer flexible part-time programs. Families can choose either a two-day or three-day schedule between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. For many families, though, I often recommend our School Day program. It’s Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and gives children the consistency of a full week while still fitting the needs of families who prefer shorter hours.

Parents also love knowing exactly what their child has been up to during the day. For this, we use the Preschool2Me app in classrooms Suite 100 through 450. Teachers use it to record diaper changes, nap times, and meals, and at the end of each day, you’ll receive a report straight to your email. It also includes special notes about what your child is learning, along with pictures of them enjoying activities—so you never miss a moment.

Cleanliness and health are very important to us, and our sanitizing practices go far beyond the basics. Teachers clean as they go, and each classroom has a scheduled day to use our Zono machine, a hospital-grade sanitizer that cleans everything from crayons to books to stuffed animals. Parents can even bring in items from home on Wednesdays, our “family sanitizing day,” and we’ll return them fully sanitized by the end of the day. Each evening, the closing manager sprays down the building, we have a janitorial crew that deep cleans nightly, and we even use germ bombs when needed. Children also wash their hands throughout the day to keep everyone healthy.

All of our extracurriculars are included in tuition—no additional costs for parents. Children get to enjoy Music, Spanish, and Fitness/Gym each week, bringing extra fun and enrichment to their learning experience. You also get a free ABC Mouse membership!

For consistency in routines, we do have a drop-off cut-off time of 10:00 a.m.. This helps ensure every child starts the day with their class and doesn’t miss out on important activities. For meals, we always provide a vegetarian option—you can find our monthly menu at the front desk or on our website, with vegetarian options clearly listed in green.

When it comes to safety, we take every precaution. Door codes are exclusive to parents only and cannot be shared. If grandparents or other authorized family members are picking up, our front desk staff will buzz them in, check ID, and assist them with pickup. This way, you can always feel confident knowing your child is safe in our care.

We also love when families recommend us to others, but please know that the referral credit is given only when the new family lists the referring person on their inquiry form. Once the new family has been enrolled for 12 consecutive weeks, the tuition credit will be applied.

If you’re enrolling, there are two apps you’ll want to download: SmartCare, which handles billing, and WatchMeGrow, which allows you to securely watch your child throughout the day. And to help you keep track of your child’s growth and learning, our teachers do weekly assessments, maintain a portfolio of work samples, and are always happy to schedule a parent-teacher conference whenever you’d like one.

I hope this gives you a sense of comfort and clarity as you think about your child joining our school. We’re here to support not just the children in our care, but also the families who trust us. If you have more questions, please reach out—I’d love to invite you in for a visit, where you can see for yourself the warmth, joy, and community that make our school feel like home.

With care,

Amy Garza, Director
