Materials:
– Small wooden ruler
– Colorful construction or scrapbook paper
– Scissors [adult use only]
– Glue stick or tape
– Ribbon or yarn
– “First Day of” sign – print one, write your own, or create it with letter stickers!
Directions:
1. Cut your paper into a triangle or pennant flag shape.
2. Add a festive message like “First Day of Pre-K” or “Back to School 2025.” You can print a pre-made design, handwrite it, or use alphabet stickers—whatever works best for you!
3. Decorate with ribbon, stickers, or any other fun supplies your child picks out.
4. Attach one edge of the flag to your ruler using glue or tape.
5. Let it dry if needed, then pose and snap a photo to capture the moment!
