Responsibilities:
  • Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities.
  • Assist with the supervision and engagement of children in various educational and play-based activities.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
  • Provide additional support to children with special needs or behavioral challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with the lead teacher, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities as required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
