Fun Activities To Do Indoors With Your Preschooler

at Kids ‘R’ Kids Medlock Bridge, preschool, daycare, childcare

There are so many things to love about winter, it’s a shame the cold weather makes it hard to go outside without bundling up until you resemble a marshmallow! So if that’s something you’d like to avoid, here are some really fun activities you can do indoors this winter with your preschooler.

Create A Winter Mobile

Cut out various shapes from construction paper – stars & snowflakes go great during winter months, but anything works! Glue them onto strings & tie everything onto a stick before hanging them from your ceiling, adding instant cheer into any room! The more you hang, the more they’ll transform the room into a winter wonderland.

Make Some Hot Cocoa & Snuggle Up

Spending time together, reading books and telling stories has been popular amongst parents & pre-schoolers long before modern times. So why not do exactly that, but this time bring along some hot cocoa and blankets.

Winter can still be an exciting time even if you don’t have the chance to go outside and play in the snow. Whether you’re crafting a winter mobile or snuggling up with some hot cocoa, there are plenty of enjoyable activities that will keep you and your preschooler entertained while staying warm indoors. So don’t let the colder weather stop you from having a good time – embrace it and make lasting memories this winter!
