Other fun strategies for exploring the changes in the weather include:
- Following the Forecast: You can use an app on your phone or go old school with an outdoor metal thermometer. Choose a few brightly colored stickers and tack a chart to the refrigerator so that you can track the forecast over time, and then watch together as the temperatures begin to cool down.
- Do Some Online Research: Discover a few children’s websites that teach about the seasons and why they change, and take turns talking about the provided pictures before reading the materials together. Your tot-sized weather enthusiast will have no shortage of questions and observations to share with you!
