Maintenance Personnel / Bus Driver
(CDL Required)To maintain the safety of the school, the playgrounds, and most importantly: the children that we care for!
Job Responsibilities
- Ability to drive a bus, safely dropping off and picking up children at local elementary schools.
- Properly take attendance and keep all maintenance records up to date.
- Knowledgeable in minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical and general repair work.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
- Oversees contracted maintenance agreements for lawn care, HVAC systems, fire extinguishers, etc.
- Daily walks to check for any maintenance issues that are needed in the building or the on the property
Qualifications
- Must have a current Class B CDL and a good driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
- Able to work Monday thru Friday 6am to 4pm and willing to work OT if needed
- Must be able to remain patient and understanding even in stressful situations
- Willingness to work in a filed dedicated to the education of young children.
