Take Responsibility
Begin giving your child more responsibility around the home. Consider creating a chore chart or to-do list and hold them accountable for completing their tasks. You can even offer rewards when the list is complete. Another way for your child to learn responsibility is for you to encourage them to own up to their mistakes and shortcoming.
