Regional Director
A seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the Early Childhood industry. Throughout my career, I have been deeply passionate about nurturing young minds and positively impacting early education.
My journey in the Early Childhood field began with my dedication to academic growth and achievement. I hold a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, which has allowed me to understand the unique needs and challenges young children face. Additionally, I have pursued a Master's degree in Counseling, equipping me with the skills to provide holistic support and guidance to children and their families.
My educational background is further enriched by a bachelor's degree in Management, which has given me a strong foundation in organizational and business practices. This blend of expertise enables me to effectively manage early childhood programs, ensuring seamless operations while prioritizing optimal learning outcomes.
I have recently found my home as the Regional Director for three amazing schools, Kids 'R' Kids the Woodlands, Kids 'R' Kids New Territory, and Kids 'R' Kids of Greatwood.

Hello! I'm Kiara McDonald, and I am honored to serve as the Academy Director at Kids 'R' Kids Greatwood. With more than seven years of experience in early childhood education and educational leadership, I am passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive, teachers feel supported, and families know they are valued every step of the way. My journey in education began in the classroom as a Lead Pre-K Teacher, where I discovered my love for helping young children learn, grow, and build confidence in themselves. Since then, I have had the privilege of serving in leadership roles as an Assistant Director at early childhood centers and as a Program Manager with Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. These experiences have allowed me to develop expertise in school operations, staff development, family engagement, curriculum implementation, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. I hold a Texas Director's License through Texas A&M AgriLife. I strongly believe that early childhood education provides the foundation for a lifetime of success, and I am committed to ensuring that every child receives the highest quality care and education in a safe, engaging, and enriching environment.
What excites me most about my role at Kids 'R' Kids Greatwood is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our children, families, and dedicated team of educators.
