“I’ve had the privilege of working for Kids ‘R’ Kids for the past 17 years. Over nearly two decades, I’ve witnessed countless milestones—both big and small—and have been honored to be part of each child’s journey. My passion for early childhood education began long before I took on my current role, and today, it continues to drive me as I work to make the school a place where every child, staff member, and family feels valued and supported. I earned my Director’s Credential, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, and a Literacy Micro credential, which helped solidify my knowledge in child development and early literacy. I’ve always believed that fostering a love of learning starts with the basics—literacy is the cornerstone for future academic success, and it’s been a focus in my work to make sure children experience that spark of curiosity early on. I’ve always taken a hands-on approach to leadership, encouraging a collaborative, inclusive environment where both staff and students feel supported. I believe in the power of mentorship—whether it’s guiding new teachers or connecting with parents, communication is key. I’ve seen firsthand how creating a strong partnership between educators, families, and the community is crucial for helping children thrive. In my role as Director, I focus on nurturing not just the children but also the educators who care for them. Professional growth is something I’m deeply passionate about, and I’m constantly seeking ways to bring innovative practices into our classrooms to enhance the learning environment. What brings me the most joy is seeing the lightbulb moments—those times when a child finally grasps a concept, when a teacher discovers a new strategy that works, or when a parent shares how their child is blossoming. It’s those everyday moments of growth and progress that remind me why I’ve chosen this path. When I’m not working, I enjoy reading and going to concerts. These activities not only help me recharge but also give me new insights into how to keep our learning environment fresh and engaging. Through it all, I’m grateful to be in a profession that allows me to make a difference in the lives of children. I look forward to continuing to grow alongside the children and staff, creating a space where learning is fun, meaningful, and lifelong.”

“Hello, my name is Samantha Pratt and I am the Curriculum Coordinator and Education Specialist at Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy of Circa Fishhawk. I have been in the childcare field for the past 8 years. I started at Kids ‘R’ Kids in 2015 as an infant room teacher. Over the years I have received my Childcare Developmental Associates and Florida Directors Credential. I now look forward to the challenges and fun that the future will bring. I am happily married and a Mama to the best two kids I could ask for. I am grateful that I get to come to work every day to help our teachers, families and kiddos blossom. My goal at Kids ‘R’ Kids is to develop healthy relationships with the families who entrust us with their child(ren)’s care – and to create a safe and interactive space for all of our children to learn and grow.”
