Because we are family-owned and operated, we are on-site and actively involved. As the owner, I have a personal interest in the children and staff in my school and want the best for all of them. My staff and I have forged relationships within our community that have lasted well past the length of time the family’s children are enrolled and that has made our learning academy so much more than just a school.
The safety of the children is our first concern in the event of an emergency such as severe weather. If there is an emergency and it becomes necessary to close the school outside of normal operating hours, parents will be notified to arrange for early pick-up.
Parents will also be instructed by the school, using our facebook page, our website, or Tadpoles to provide closing information if there is inclement weather and it is determined that the school will not open. If an emergency develops and it is determined that the building or premises are unsafe due to a severe weather situation, your child(ren) will be transported to a safe location. Families will be notified of the situation.
Note that we perform regular tornado drills in the school to be best prepared for an emergency.
