After being cooped up all winter, we\u2019re sure your preschool child is anxious to step outside and enjoy the warmer weather. Give one of these springtime activities a try\u2014kiddos will love them, and parents will too!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Create your own flower crown.<\/b><\/h3>\n

This spring craft requires minimal materials and can be customized to your child\u2019s liking. All you need is <\/span>floral wire<\/b> and a decent amount of <\/span>flowers of your choice<\/b>. Real or fake, make sure your flowers have a long enough stem to attach to the wire. You can also simply grab a glue gun and secure each flower to the wire, one by one. Get creative with your kiddos and say hello to your flower kings and queens!<\/span><\/p>\n

Go on a springtime scavenger hunt.<\/b><\/h3>\n

Make a list of things to search for in your community, such as specific birds, insects, and different types of flowers. Head to the park or find a local trail, and start searching! Wishing you could hold onto the memories you make forever? Take a photo each time you find something on the list, and then create a scrapbook to add to throughout the season.<\/span><\/p>\n

Make DIY fruity popsicles.<\/b><\/h3>\n

This delicious treat is sure to keep you cool as temperatures heat up this spring. To make your own Mango Banana popsicles, you need <\/span>popsicle molds<\/span><\/a>, about 2 cups of <\/span>frozen mango chunks<\/b>, one sliced <\/span>frozen banana<\/b>, and your favorite <\/span>fruit juice<\/b> (orange or pineapple would work great). Blend the ingredients together until you\u2019ve reached a smooth consistency, and then pour the mixture into your popsicle molds. Freeze them overnight, and when you wake up you\u2019ll have a sweet, fruity treat to enjoy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Draw with sidewalk chalk.<\/b><\/h3>\n

Break out the sidewalk chalk and let your little artists get to work. Practice spelling words, drawing creative pictures, or playing any one of these sidewalk chalk games:<\/span><\/p>\n
