Rainy days can be frustrating for parents and children alike. But with some creativity, a rainy day can be just as fun as a sunny one! Here are some preschooler-friendly activities to keep your child entertained on a rainy day:<\/span><\/p>\n

Create something<\/span><\/h4>\n

Bust out the craft supplies! There\u2019s no better time than a rainy day to get creative with art and crafts. Gather up some paper, crayons, markers, or even play-doh and let your preschooler go to town! You can even make it a collaborative project and work together to create something special.<\/span><\/p>\n

Have a movie day<\/span><\/h4>\n

Gloomy, rainy weather makes for the perfect day to snuggle up and get cozy indoors! Pop some popcorn, pile on the blankets, and put on an age-appropriate movie. The rumbling rain outside will make for the perfect ambience for a movie day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visit your local library<\/span><\/h4>\n

Brave the rain for a trip to your local library! Nothing will put you in a reading mood quite like a rainy day. Let your child pick out a book, or multiple books! Encouraging your child\u2019s literacy and spending this quality time with them will make for many a rainy day they look back on fondly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Venture outside anyway<\/span><\/h4>\n

A little water never scared a preschooler! Get geared up for a splishy-splashy walk. Your preschooler will enjoy carrying an umbrella and stomping in puddles, so long as they are wearing their rainboots and jacket!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
