Here are some helpful tips for making the most of this holiday with your little one.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">History of Thanksgiving<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In 1621, the Pilgrims and Native Americans came together to celebrate their harvest. They ate fish, local berries, and venison and enjoyed their bounty over a period of three days. Thanksgiving became a national holiday in 1863 and is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November each year!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Festive Activities<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Make this Thanksgiving the best ever by trying one of these activities with your family:<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Create a homemade tablecloth!\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Instead of putting out your best placemats for your Thanksgiving meal this year, grab some brown butcher paper and let your preschooler help you make personalized place settings.
